Recap: PALADAR Dinner Series with Fika Fête

Chef Paul Joey of Fika Fête started PALADAR, a dinner series in the desert as an intimate gathering of neighbors, friends, and people from the community to come together to enjoy his culinary creations.

Hosted by Matt French, owner of the Pioneertown Motel, the menu was pure magic. Paul took inspiration for the menu from locally made smoky chili morita chipotle oil. Our friend Michael of Burns Canyon Spice Co. makes his Vaquero Chili Morita locally in Pioneertown, and it has been one of our pantry staples that we have offered for years in the shop.

All Roads brought table linens (because details matter), and the whole night felt like a cozy celebration of good food, good people, and that unbeatable desert magic. Scroll to see photos by Carly Foulkes who captured the evening beautifully.
